HammondCare provides care primarily through hospitals, residential care homes and home-based care as well as services for dementia support, community palliative care, rehabilitation, positive aging and older persons' mental health.

The opportunity

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the delivery, execution and achieving outcomes of the marketing strategy for Volunteers and our Foundation. In this role you'll be encouraged to think strategically and add value using your creativity and critical thinking. You will work closely with the Marketing team consisting of marketing, communications, events and digital specialists, plus an in-house studio with design and content creators to accelerate HammondCare's goal to shape the sector and reach those in need whose lives would be improved by our care. The position is a 12‐month parental leave contract based at St Leonards with working from home flexibility.

What you'll be doing

* Deliver successful, integrated marketing programs and lead generation/donation campaigns to support the business goals for our Foundation and Volunteer portfolios.
* Be part of a positive, cooperative partnership with the Foundation and Volunteers teams to realise HammondCare's strategy and ambition.
* Effective and consultative engagement with internal and external partners and business stakeholders to deliver marketing and organisational goals.
* Write effective briefs to our internal design, content and digital team, and external agency partners.
* Efficient project management – on time, to budget with appropriate communications to keep all stakeholders aware of progress, changes, and developments.
* Use data and insights to inform performance and optimise marketing activity, sharing regular reports with stakeholders.
* Be part of the team working to find new and exciting ways to engage our internal and external audiences.
* Contribute to and uphold the reputation of the marketing team as a knowledgeable, team‐oriented and highly valued business partner.

Who are you?

* Tertiary qualified, ideally with a major in Marketing or Communications.
* 6 years or more experience driving the development and implementation of marketing and fundraising programs, ideally in NFP environments with a focus on B2B and B2C audiences.
* A strategic outlook, able to align marketing and communications activity to strategic business objectives.
* Proven content marketing experience and ability to develop and execute multi‐channel content plans.
* Digital experience across multiple channels, including inbound marketing, direct response campaigns, content‐driven campaigns, paid social, and landing page optimisation.
* Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt style and voice to different audiences, and the able to understand and convert complex information into engaging content.
* Ability to write effective briefs and manage projects, liaising with partners to ensure work is of a high standard, on brief and fully integrated across all relevant channels.
* Experienced at budget management and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
* Good stakeholder management skills, able to manage relationships to ensure delivery of high quality work.
* Solid understanding of analytics, reporting and implementing data‐driven insights.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Empathy and patience.
