We are seeking a reliable and experienced Area Housekeeping Manager to work with us at our clients' properties in Queensland. Due to our business' expansion across Australia, we are seeking someone who can assist with our Queensland operations, especially when our owners are travelling interstate.
Tasks include but not limited to:
* Weekly inspections at client properties to ensure cleaning and hygiene standards in guest apartments and public areas are met.
* Undergo checking cleaned rooms behind Room Attendants and Team Leaders on site to ensure performance standards are met.
* Assisting and liaising with our Head of Operations with staff training, staff re-fresher training, keeping record of onsite toolbox talks and keeping the senior management team regularly updated with operations at all client properties.
* Rostering staff, and reporting issues to the senior management team so they can liaise with the Property.
* Contribute to the growth of the business. May be required to visit potential clients in Queensland.
Requirements:
* Must live in the Gold Coast, or Brisbane area. Full driver's licence and own car required.
* Must be hands-on and flexible. Must be available five (5) days a week minimum. Will be required to work on weekends and public holidays during high volume periods if necessary.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a housekeeping management position (i.e. Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Operations Manager) in Australian 4-5 star hotels or serviced apartments is required.
* Exceptional high attention to detail and ability to maintain standard whilst working under pressure and time constraints.
* Reliable, customer-focused, and ability to work in a team environment.
* Must have permission to work in Australia.
