In this role you will be responsible for:
* Planning each job for maximum efficiency
* Performing service and repair work to the customer vehicles as per the repair order
* Identifying and troubleshooting faults in mechanical and electrical systems of engines and their components.
* Repairing and maintaining in line with manufacturer and dealership requirements
* Making recommendations for additional work to client vehicle based on diagnostics
* Calibrating and testing mechanical components after repair to ensure optimal operation
* Utilizing computer-aided diagnostics to evaluate and troubleshoot vehicle parts
* Ensuring the work is completed professionally and correctly first time.
* Working independently or as part of our team as a whole
Task & Responsibilities
Main tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Independent servicing and repairing customer vehicles in a timely manner
* Fault diagnostics and assisting with the evaluation
* Operating specialised equipment
* Road testing of customer's vehicles.
* Maintaining the workshop in a clean, safe and professional condition.
* Maintaining a safe working environment
Qualification & Experience
* Mechanical trade qualification with a minimum 2 years' experience
* Mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle brands.
* Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to identify and rectify faults efficiently.
* Excellent time management
* Attention to detail
* Robust communication skills and be a reliable and punctual team member.
* Basic computer skills
* Valid Australian work rights required
