About You You’re an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and thinking beyond the immediate task. You’re comfortable working across teams, influencing outcomes, and bringing structure and insight to maintenance and support challenges. You’ll Bring Australian Citizenship and eligibility for a Baseline Security Clearance A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or similar) 3–5 years’ experience in maintenance engineering within complex asset environments Experience developing maintenance documentation and plans Understanding of IPS principles and the systems engineering lifecycle It Would Be Great If You Also Have Experience with RCM, FMECA, LORA, or similar analysis techniques Exposure to Defence programs, ILS/IPS environments, or ASDEFCON Postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering, Asset Management, or Defence Logistics Experience contributing to design reviews A Workplace Where You Belong At Austal, we value diversity and inclusion because it makes us stronger.
