About the Role
As our new Senior HR Advisor, you’ll support leaders and employees with practical HR solutions while helping shape strategies that boost engagement, development, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee & Manager Support – Build trusted relationships, coach leaders, and provide day-to-day HR guidance.
- Employee Relations – Act as first point of contact for straightforward ER matters, draft guides, support leaders in conversations, and escalate high-risk cases where needed.
- Learning & Development – Deliver management training, support career development, and contribute to leadership and talent programs.
- Onboarding & Retention – Drive smooth onboarding experiences, manage probation processes, analyse exit data and recommend initiatives to strengthen engagement and retention.
- Organisation Design & Workforce Planning – Advise on role design, compensation consistency, and workforce resourcing.
- Change & Communication – Support HRBP-led change strategies and communication planning.
- Engagement & Retention – Analyse exit data and recommend initiatives to strengthen engagement and retention.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor (or similar).
- Relevant HR qualifications (e.g., Cert IV, Diploma, or Bachelor in HR/Business) or equivalent experience.
- Robust knowledge of employee relations, with the ability to resolve issues and escalate complex cases appropriately.
- Experience supporting managers with onboarding, probation, and retention initiatives.
- Exposure to job design, benefits and compensation advice, and workforce planning.
- Confidence in delivering training, facilitating workshops, and contributing to leadership programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A solutions-focused mindset, balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term people strategy.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or agency environments is desirable but not essential.
