Description
The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
* Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
* Develop and maintain financial models and reports to track key performance indicators.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and analysis.
* Analyse financial performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
* Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with accounting and finance regulations and standards.
* Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve organisational goals.
Profile
A successful Senior FP&A Manager should have:
* Must have exposure to Energy sector (gas or electricity), generation or retail
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and CA/CPA
* Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis within the energy and natural resources industry.
* Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
* Exposure to derivatives is ideal
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
