About the Role:
Our organization is seeking a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality support services to customers within their own homes.
* Personal Care: This may include assistance with toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene and other personal hygiene needs.
* Meal Preparation: Cooking, food preparation and meal planning that cater to individual dietary requirements.
* Transportation: Safe and reliable transportation to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping (including assisting with shopping) and other outings as required.
* Social Support: Regular welfare checks, fostering meaningful connections, offering empathetic companionship and maintaining their connection to the community.
* Domestic Assistance: Duties such as vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds and basic home and garden maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide personalized care and support to customers according to their individual needs and preferences.
* To maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update these records as necessary.
* To work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* To identify opportunities for improving services and make recommendations to management.
* To adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and legislation governing the delivery of services.
Requirements:
* Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
* Familiarity with relevant software applications and technology.
* A valid driver's license (if applicable).
