Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.


Duties

* Lead and manage all aspects of day-to-day coordination and implementation of prisoner intervention and reintegration, including report writing, assessments, and quality assurance.
* Provide leadership, daily work instruction, clinical direction, and guidance to staff in a specific discipline or area of expertise.
* Oversee assessments of offenders to determine their suitability for case management and program interventions, and monitor their progress.
* Provide interventions to prisoners with complex needs, including assessments, record keeping, and reports.
* Liaise with broader TPS staff, including correctional staff, therapeutic services, education, health, and other stakeholders.
* Provide training and development for Correctional staff and other organizations when requested.
* Hold a relevant degree of at least three years duration from a recognized university.


Pre-employment Checks

The Head of State Service requires candidates to pass pre-employment checks before appointment, promotion, or transfer, including:

* National Police Record checks for various offences such as arson, violent crimes, sex offences, drug offences, dishonesty, malicious damage, traffic offences, and crimes against public order or law enforcement.
* Disciplinary action in previous employment.
* Identification check.
