People & Culture Coordinator K'gari (Fraser Island)

If so, the Kingfisher Bay Resort Group is looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to drive our recruitment, onboarding and administrative activities and help us create unforgettable experiences for our employees.
This generalist role is instrumental in effectively supporting Operations and the P&C team with human resources related matters with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, induction, payroll, systems and compliance across the SeaLink - Kgari Group.
The role will also support the business with internal movements, visa requirements and sponsorship, coordinating apprentices, internships and traineeships and be the face for all employee general enquiries, payroll, HR processes and systems matters for our employees and leaders.
This is a Monday to Friday role based at Kingfisher Bay resort on K'gari, it can either be a permanent full-time 38 hours per week or we are open to part time hours across the five days.

Key Role Requirements
Generalist HR activity across a range of platforms.
Coordinate all recruitment advertising, screening, shortlisting, phone screens, selection criteria, interviewing, reference checking and visa (VEVO) checks.
Preparation & checking of employment contracts.
Manage job vacancies across the group
Coordinate the arrival on new team members.
Setting up employees in dayforce payroll system
Providing payroll administration and collaboration
Assisting team members with general People & Culture enquiries.
Assisting team members with uniforms – ordering & issuing.
Maintenance of employee files and training and compliance.
Managing our apprentice, internship and traineeship programs as well as visa sponsorship programs.
Any other duties or projects as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Would suit someone currently working in an administrative human resource role looking for the next step in their career.
It is a hands-on role, you need to be willing to jump in and help where needed in the P&C team
Proven track record in high volume end-to-end recruitment, with a preference in the Hospitality / Resort / Tourism sector.
Proficiency in modern recruitment platforms – Expr3ss, HROnboard, Dayforce (Desirable but not essential).
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
Can do attitude, and problem solver.
Can work under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Most importantly, a passion to help people and the ability to learn and develop
