Key Responsibilities
* The Oncall/Rostering Coordinator will support our frontline workers as the first point of contact outside normal business hours for emergencies, unplanned leave and general assistance.
* Assisting frontline staff with after-hours and emergency situations by providing logical and calculated decisions to ensure customer and staff safety
* Follow the escalation procedures as required
* Provide accurate information for reporting on calls, incidents and customer updates
* Assist employees with unplanned leave outside of normal business hours and fill the shifts with current staff
* Assist our rostering team with timekeeping, shift fill and maintaining effective rosters in line with our Enterprise Agreements
* Recognise patterns of absence in staff rosters and escalate any concerns for review
* Assist the rostering team with inbox maintenance and other duties as required
The hours for this role are generally 2pm-10pm and 4pm-12am that may be scheduled across a variety of days, including weekends. From time to time, there may also be a need for availability outside of these hours on an ad hoc basis. This position is based at our Lavington office.
About You
* Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing priorities under pressure while maintaining a positive, understanding and professional approach.
* Previous experience in the community services sector and/or disability or a call centre environment
* Ability to make decisions and communicate these decisions effectively
* Strong administration skills to create, update and maintain customer information in a variety of platforms
* Tech-savvy with the ability to pick up new systems and software with ease. Experience in Alayacare is highly desirable
* Ability to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Clearance before commencement
* Current Driver's License
