Attraction allowance $44,502 per annum. Practitioner allowance $29,670 per annum. Revenue Activity Incentives up to $100,000 per annum. Remote retention allowance $44,502 per annum. Maximum GPRIP payments (MMM7 classification).
About the Role
Alyangula Health Centre Clinic on Groote Eylandt – a remote island serving four rural medical clinics (Alyangula, Angurugu, Umbakumba, Milyakburra). The Rural Medical Practitioners work across all four clinics on a rotating roster. The clinics are located 50 km offshore from the Northern Territory mainland in the Gulf of Carpentaria, servicing the island's population across four Aboriginal and non‑First Nations communities. The position is full‑time Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, supported by Remote Area Nurses, Registrars and Administration staff. Visiting allied health workers frequent the clinics including Physiotherapy, Dietitian, Podiatry, Social Workers, Psychologists, Dentist and Medical Imaging specialists.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background working in rural and remote hospitals or community settings, with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
