A growing financial services group is entering a new phase of financial maturity and is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to elevate accounting integrity, controls, and reporting across a multi entity structure.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers genuine ownership of financial accounting operations across approximately multiple entities, with scope to embed structure, discipline, and scalable processes at Group level.
The Focus Of The Role
This is a hands on, qualified Finance Manager position with full responsibility for financial accounting integrity across the Group.
You will:
* Own month end and year end close across multiple entities
* Ensure balance sheet integrity and disciplined control frameworks
* Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors
* Lead audit processes and statutory reporting
* Formalise close cadence, workflows, and review mechanisms
* Strengthen working capital visibility and cash oversight
* Redesign processes and improve system efficiency within Xero
* Support transition toward divisional reporting structures
* Lead and develop a small finance team
About You
You are CA or CPA qualified with a strong technical foundation and a track record of elevating finance functions.
You will bring:
* 6 to 10+ years accounting experience
* Experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant
* Multi entity exposure
* Proven ability to improve controls and reporting discipline
* Experience leading small teams
Public practice foundation with transition into industry will be highly regarded.
