**The Opportunity**:
SPC is seeking an experienced FMCG National Account Manager to join our team and manage our key COLES account.
As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and develop new products to grow market share.
You will possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to forge strong partnerships with our key customers and stakeholders.
**The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to**:
- Take full accountability for COLES.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within COLES and internally
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Own the sales delivery versus budget, implementing strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Contribute to the team culture and help assist in the development of team members
- Drive the development and execution of joint category plans in collaboration with key accounts.
- Effectively manage account and stay within budget constraints.
- Monitor and analyse spend management, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure alignment with company objectives, market trends, and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and analyses to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in account management role within the FMCG industry, particularly with major retailers like COLES & WOOLWORTHS.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Understanding of category management and promotional strategies.
- Ownership of sales targets and problem solving to deliver.
- Able to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of key contacts across multiple levels of the industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the team and business.
