Mitre 10 Kurri Kurri is preparing for an exciting new Trade and Landscape Supplies section opening, and we're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Trade Specialist to support our growing trade customer base. This role is ideal for someone with strong product knowledge, a passion for customer service, and experience working with builders and trades.
About the Role
As a Trade Specialist, you will be the key point of contact for our trade customers, providing expert advice, managing trade accounts, and ensuring a seamless experience from order through to delivery. You'll play a vital role in driving trade sales and building long-term relationships within the local construction and trade community.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, and trade customers.
* Provide expert product advice across building materials, landscape supplies, paint, hardware, and home improvement products.
* Manage trade accounts, quotes, pricing, and order processing.
* Coordinate with yard, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
* Identify opportunities to grow trade sales and promote Mitre 10 products and services.
* Ensure all trade activities comply with WHS standards and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate records, stock awareness, and pricing integrity.
* Support store operations and merchandising as required.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a trade, hardware, or building supplies environment.
* Strong knowledge of building materials and trade-related products.
