Electrical Technician Position
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team for a major energy infrastructure project in Tasmania. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Electrical Site Supervisor, supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of electrical systems at substation sites.
This hands-on role includes both primary and secondary installations, with a focus on technical excellence and WHS compliance.
* Perform HV and LV installations - including primary, secondary, and auxiliary systems
* Support inspection, test, and commissioning activities
The ideal candidate will have experience working in HV substation construction, hold a valid A-Grade Electrical Licence (Tasmania), and possess sound knowledge of AS/NZS standards and WHS compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Cert III in Electrotechnology (minimum)
* Valid A-Grade Electrical Licence (Tasmania)
* At least 3 years of experience in HV substation construction (or similar)
* Sound knowledge of AS/NZS standards and WHS compliance
* Ability to read electrical drawings, diagrams, and manuals
