Administration Trainee Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administration Trainee to join our team. This 12-month traineeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance administration, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
The successful candidate will provide support in data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and record-keeping, as well as assist with general administrative duties in a not-for-profit finance environment.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about finance and administration, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the sector. No prior experience is required – just the right attitude and a willingness to grow.
About the Role:
* Gain hands-on experience in finance administration, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
* Provide support in data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and record-keeping
* Assist with general administrative duties in a not-for-profit finance environment
* Learn industry software and systems (e.g. Xero, Employment Hero)
* Work as part of a collaborative, friendly team
* Complete a Certificate III or IV in Business or Accounts Administration (with dedicated time during work hours to study)

* A great communicator with good attention to detail
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
* Organised and able to manage their time effectively
