Overview
Rotational Social Worker Level 1-2, Wollongong Hospital — Temporary Full Time position with NSW Health. Applications close 11 September 2025. This is a temporary leave relief position until 16 October 2026 with the possibility of extension. This recruitment may be used to create a talent pool/eligibility list for casual, ongoing permanent, or temporary full-time or part-time positions within the next 18 months.
Responsibilities
Provide a high quality social work service to patients, clients, consumers and their family/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

Location: Wollongong Hospital (TWH). Salary: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging. Type: Temporary Full Time. Ref: REQ. Grade: Social Worker Level 1-2. Applications close: 11 September 2025.

Essential requirements
Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
