Little Kindy Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and passionate Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Dawesville, WA, 6210.
The successful applicant will be working both within the Education Space directly with children, as well as contributing to program and planning. This full time role requires the successful applicant to act as Responsible Person throughout the week, and includes both early starts and late finishes - these are negotiable.
What you'll be doing
* Implementing age-appropriate educational programs and activities to engage and stimulate children's learning and development
* Observing and documenting children's progress, interests and needs to inform individualised learning plans using OWNA
* Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the wellbeing of all children
* Fostering positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
* Adhering to all childcare regulations, policies and procedures
* Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve the quality of our service
* Assisting with Compliance Documentation and contributing to the Programming and Planning
What we're looking for
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent in line with the ACECQA guidelines)
* Demonstrated experience working as a Child Care Educator, preferably in a similar setting (Minimum of 1 year full time experience)
* Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and families
* Passionate about supporting the holistic development of young children
* Flexible, adaptable and willing to work as part of a collaborative team
* Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.
* Must be willing to be Responsible Person and complete all duties in line with these responsibilities.
