About the role
Metal Roofing & Building Supplies P/L is seeking a full time Stock Controller Storeman to join our team in Smeaton Grange, NSW. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stock management and supporting the efficient operation of our busy warehouse.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving, storing and dispatching a wide range of building materials and equipment
- Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Coordinating the movement of stock, including preparing orders for delivery
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of trucks
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
- Supporting the wider operations team as required
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years' experience in a warehousing or stock control role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry
