Job Title: ICT Project Manager
Deliver Critical Defence Projects that Safeguard Australia's Future
Job Description:
We're looking for experienced professionals in Canberra to join our team and work on complex defence and national security projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute detailed project plans to ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements.
* Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders, including NSG-SPO, ISSC, and NI&IWB.
* Identify, manage, and resolve engineering risks, issues, and opportunities to support capability outcomes.
* Establish control processes and practices while facilitating approvals for Requests for Problem Resolution (RPR).
* Prepare documentation, briefs, and presentations, and manage project costs with due diligence on contractor surveys and quotes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Engineering qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification.
* Defence systems engineering experience: Demonstrated background managing technical project delivery within Defence environments.
* Communication and collaboration skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities to engage stakeholders effectively.
* Defence maritime and lifecycle expertise: Desirable experience in Defence maritime projects, Defence Capability Lifecycle, Ship Class SPOs/ISSCs, and prior involvement with SEA****.
