Tyrepower Labrador is seeking an additional Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic or 4th Year Apprentice to join our high-performing team in Labrador.
We are one of the Gold Coast’s busiest tyre and mechanical service centers, known for our strong customer focus, quality workmanship, and professional workshop standards. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent job security, competitive remuneration, and the opportunity to work in a clean, well-run workshop alongside experienced technicians.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical duties to a high professional standard, including:
* Logbook servicing and general mechanical repairs
* Diagnostics and fault finding
* Suspension, brake and component replacement
* Working on new and used vehicles across all makes and models
* Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
* Road testing vehicles where required
About You
* Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) Will consider a 4th year apprentice.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
* Takes pride in quality workmanship and efficiency
* Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
* Current driver’s license
* Own tools (some required)
* Ability to complete Roadworthy Certificates (RWC) is highly regarded, but is not essential
