Reporting directly to the State Manager WA, SA, NT you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and organised store environment that ensures the smooth flow of materials throughout the business.
About the Role
This hands‐on role is essential to the efficient movement of goods across the business, ensuring stock is received, handled, and dispatched accurately and with care.
1. Receiving, inspecting, and dispatching stock efficiently and accurately.
2. Unrolling, rerolling, measuring, cutting, and relabeling cable products to order.
3. Accepting incoming materials after inspection and releasing conforming products for use or resale.
4. Storing products safely and neatly, keeping aisles and exits clear, and maintaining tools and equipment.
5. Conducting routine equipment maintenance to ensure operational safety.
6. Identifying and reporting suspect or non‐conforming products, preventing quality issues, and raising potential safety, quality, or environmental risks.
7. Supporting team objectives, maintaining good working relationships, and contributing cooperatively to a productive work environment.
8. Maintaining accurate work records and complying with company policies, procedures, and QHSE guidelines.
Skills and Experience
9. Holding a current forklift licence.
10. Demonstrating the ability to follow written and verbal instructions while working within established procedures and delivering quality customer service.
11. Strong planning, prioritising, and managing skills to meet operational time‐frames.
12. A high level of accuracy and compliance in recording work.
13. A commitment to quality assurance, workplace health and safety, and environmental practices.
