Job Title: Home Support Assistant
About the Job:
We are seeking a Home Support Assistant to join our team. As a Home Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently at home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing and cleaning.
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
* Prepare meals for clients.
* Provide social support and respite for family carers.
* Provide personal care including assistance with showering and dressing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
* Reliable team player.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential).
