* Ongoing Full-Time
* Location Eveleigh with flexible working arrangements available across NSW Department of Education offices.
* A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months
* Competitive remuneration ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super & annual leave loading.



Join our dynamic team to drive ongoing product development, training, and project delivery—aligning with departmental objectives and delivering on time and within budget.



What you’ll do:

* Lead product development support, training, and delivery to achieve strategic goals.
* Analyse issues, recommend mitigations, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
* Develop user stories aligned with project scope and ensure technical outcomes reflect business requirements.
* Engage stakeholders to identify cost-effective solutions and opportunities for enhancement.
* Shape backlog strategies and collaborate with internal and external partners to convert strategic requirements into concrete tasks.
* Escalate high-risk or business-critical issues and guide resolution with leadership.
* Create engaging training content to boost customer understanding of delivery processes.
* Balance competing priorities to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery while maintaining strong relationships.

About you

* Experience conducting agile meetings such as stand-ups, sprint planning, review and retrospective sessions.
* Proven experience leading web application development and delivery.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into user stories and technical outcomes.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
* Track record of building scalable training materials and supporting customer success.
* Ability to manage priorities, escalate appropriately, and deliver high-quality results on schedule.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.



Essential requirements of the role

* Qualifications Project Management or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.



Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens or a valid work visa). Ongoing (permanent) roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, while temporary roles welcome applicants with a visa.
