About The Client
Our client is a solutions integrator forIntralogistics & Robotic Automation. They are an Australian family-owned company that believes in advancing clients production through a strategic collaboration of core automation elements. Innovation is at the core of their culture.They are looking for multiple experienced Riggers to join their team in Mutdapilly.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Rigger you will be required Monday Friday 6.30am-4.30pm and some Saturdays when required and you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of rigging equipment and systems. You will be assisting with the installation of sorting tables and working with Cranes. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, precision, and dedication to quality workmanship and you will be completing the following duties:
* Attach, secure, and prepare heavy and oversized loads, including structural steel, for lifting and moving by cranes on site
* Set up and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, and hoists, to ensure they meet safety standards and are suitable for the task at hand.
* Assist in crane and hoisting operations, ensuring that loads are attached securely and lifted safely. Communicate with crane operators using hand signals or two-way radios.
* Strictly adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Conduct safety inspections of rigging equipment.
