This role sits at the senior end of the team, focused on managing high-risk, complex employee relations matters and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
This is a role suited to a seasoned ER professional who thrives on complexity, can navigate ambiguity, and brings a strong balance of technical expertise and commercial judgement.
The Role
As a Senior ER Specialist, you will take ownership of the most complex and sensitive workplace matters, providing strategic advice and leading end-to-end case management across a broad portfolio.
Key areas of focus include:
* Managing high-risk, complex ER cases end-to-end, including serious misconduct, discrimination, bullying, and termination matters
* Leading legally robust workplace investigations and providing clear, defensible recommendations
* Preparing for and supporting tribunal matters, including Fair Work Commission proceedings and conciliations
* Providing expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, and employment legislation
* Partnering with senior leaders to navigate risk, influence outcomes, and drive best practice
About You
You will be a highly experienced ER professional with deep technical capability and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor at a senior level.
* Extensive experience managing complex ER cases and workplace investigations
* Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, industrial instruments, and employment legislation
* Experience supporting or leading tribunal matters highly regarded
* Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
* Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
* Background in retail, FMCG or hospitality well-regarded
