The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Japanese Teacher to join a professional team based just outside of Melbourne. This is a full-time, ongoing position teaching classes across Years 7 to 12.
You will be joining a school that values professionalism, diligence, and quality staff. The successful candidate will commence in Term 1, 2026, contributing to a community both as a teacher and as a role model to shape the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality Japanese curriculum to students.
* Experience teaching VCE Japanese classes is highly desirable.
* Foster a safe, child‑friendly environment where student wellbeing is paramount.
* Engage in reflective practice and collaborate with a supportive staff community.
* Participate in the school's expansive curriculum and community spirit.
Key Selection Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Japanese Teacher.
* Appropriate teaching qualifications with the ability to become registered in Victoria.
* Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or Australian interstate equivalent).
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Valid Driver's License.
