This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable health services provider network as a Pharmacy Ward Distribution Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for distributing hospital pharmaceutical products to various sites across Victoria.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage imprest supplies, distribute medications to wards and departments, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
">
">
1. Distribute medications (Imprest) to wards, departments and sub-stores, and liaise with the Hospital pharmacy distribution manager regarding any stock matters
">
2. Collection of imprest supplies from the store and delivery to wards and departments
">
3. Quick and efficient delivery of items including those requiring specific storage or cold chain maintenance
">
4. Unpacking imprest orders and checking of goods against supplier delivery records
">
5. Replenishment of automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs)
">
6. Immediate communication to hospital pharmacy distribution manager officer regarding supply issues
">
7. Maintain accurate placement of goods received in imprest locations including refrigerated items
">
8. Rotate stock, monitor expiry dates and stock levels of all imprest stock in ward and pharmacy areas
">
9. Maintain clean and orderly pharmaceutical storage
">
10. Ensure appropriate signage e.g., out of stock notices and shelf talkers are in place on imprest
">
11. Monitor storage condition of pharmaceuticals in wards and escalate any issues to the distribution manager
">
12. Ensure records are maintained according to local standard operating procedures
">
13. Ensure all documentation filing including medicines related records is kept up to date and archived as necessary

Requirements:

* Prior experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience
