Salary: $95,777 – $102,659 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
Western Sydney University's Centralised Research Facilities play a critical role in supporting researchers, industry partners and students across a diverse and rapidly evolving research ecosystem. As the Research Facilities Administration Officer, you will contribute to the effective delivery of these services by ensuring that financial, operational and compliance frameworks are managed efficiently, consistently and with a strong customer focus.
In this role, you will support the Associate Director, Research Infrastructure and Systems while working closely with facility managers and the Research & Innovation division. You will manage diary and workflow coordination, prepare high quality documentation, and provide administrative oversight for areas including procurement, expenditure monitoring, and system updates. You will also facilitate workshops, meetings and training activities that enable effective engagement and capability building across the University's research community.
Additionally, you will oversee facility booking systems, support travel and event coordination, maintain web content and contribute to the broader operations of Research Integrity where required. Your work will help ensure that Western's research platforms are well-governed, smoothly operated, and positioned to meet the needs of a modern research environment.
What Success Looks Like:
Deliver timely, accurate and compliant administrative support to research facility stakeholders.
Maintain smooth coordination of meetings, diaries, bookings and documentation.
Support financial planning, budget monitoring and procurement activities with precision.
Coordinate effective events, workshops and training sessions that enhance facility operations.
Uphold policy, safety and governance requirements across all administrative activities.

Demonstrated competence in financial processes, event coordination and office systems.
