About the Role
As an Auto Electrician on site, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and installation of electrical systems across a wide range of heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
You will be responsible for:
* Performing electrical diagnostics and fault‑finding on heavy mobile equipment
* Servicing and repairing OEM and aftermarket electrical systems
* Attending breakdowns and supporting production-critical repairs
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance to OEM and site standards
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high quality
Equipment You May Work On
* CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi & Liebherr mobile plant
* Drill rigs, diggers, dozers, loaders, graders
* Light vehicles and ancillary mining equipment
* Guidance systems, auto‑lube systems, air‑con units & mine control systems
What We're Looking For
* Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
* Experience in mining, civil, or heavy industry
* Strong diagnostics, electrical systems knowledge & problem‑solving ability
* Valid driver's licence
* Safety‑first mindset and a positive team attitude
