About the role
In your new role of Mill hand, you will support the team in:
* Operating and monitoring feed mill machinery and equipment to ensure consistent production.
* Loading and unloading bulk feed and raw materials using front-end loaders and other machinery.
* Maintaining accurate records of feed ingredients and stock movement.
* Assisting with inventory checks and stock reconciliation.
* Liaising with logistics and production teams to coordinate feed deliveries and loading schedules.
* Ensuring all equipment is checked, cleaned, and maintained according to site procedures.
* Conducting routine quality and safety checks during production and loading.
* Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures and Baiada site policies.
About you
As a Mill Hand, you will bring hands-on experience working in a fast-paced production or feed mill environment. In addition, you will have:
* Availability to commit to Flexibility working 12-hour rotating shifts.
* A current Forklift License and relevant experience operating a forklift.
* Prior experience in a similar role is a preferred but not essential.
* Reliability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive in a team environment.
* Appropriate level of physical fitness and stamina to handle successfully perform the demands of the job role requirements.
