We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Coordinator to join an Operations team.
About the role
* Ensure daily factory operations run smoothly through efficient machine servicing and repairs.
* Support optimum production capacity and productivity while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning
o Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
o Prioritise and track tasks, ensuring on-time completion.
o Supervise contractors to ensure alignment with schedules and quality standards.
Safety & Quality
o Promote safety consciousness and maintain a healthy working setting.
o Adhere to occupational health and safety policies to maintain zero tolerance of harm.
Operational Support
o Provide technical and service assistance to the team.
o Ensure effective communication with management on maintenance status and schedules.
o Oversee training for maintenance fitters and apprentices.
Continuous Improvement
o Identify and implement improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Strong communication, coordination, and decision‐making abilities.
* Experience in maintenance, safety standards, and production systems.
* Ability to plan ahead with a focus on preventative maintenance.
