This role supports students across Years 3 to 12 in a small, personalised learning environment that combines face-to-face and online teaching. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide one-on-one support to a student with a disability to enable full participation in classroom and educational activities – Support student engagement in both online and face-to-face learning environments – Liaise effectively with classroom teachers and campus learning support teachers – Assist in implementing learning activities as directed by teaching staff – Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning and support records – Contribute to a safe and caring learning environment REQUIREMENTS – Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support – Relevant experience in an education support role – Demonstrated ability to work one-on-one with a student with a disability – Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and learning support staff – Capability to maintain accurate learning records – Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student support assistants play a critical role in ensuring equitable access to education for students with additional learning needs.
