Job Overview
As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective governance and compliance of our organisation. This newly created position reflects the increasing complexity of our sector and our commitment to robust frameworks and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic support for governance initiatives across our organisation and its subsidiary entities
* Administer board sub-committees and working groups, as required
* Oversee compliance matters, including managing the register of compliance issues
* Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly, aligning with current legislation and regulatory requirements
* Coordinate legal services and manage inter-entity contracts
* Act as company secretary for subsidiaries, maintaining governance documentation and supporting board functions, as necessary
* Advise executive leaders on governance and compliance matters
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in governance, legal compliance, and risk management
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A proactive approach with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement
* Experience in the non-profit or community services sector is highly regarded
