Job Title: Receptionist at Applecross Podiatry
Applecross Podiatry, a privately owned podiatry clinic, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a casual Receptionist. If you are a friendly, organised, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
* Maintain and update patient records accurately.
* Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, ordering stock and managing emails.
* Collaborate with podiatrists to ensure smooth clinic operations.
* Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
* Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficient in computer skills and data entry.
* A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Understanding of medical terminology or experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Schedule: This is a casual position with some full-day hours. The successful candidate will need to be available to work predominantly Thursdays and Saturdays. with some other days as well. Would suit University student.
