The long-life Mt Magnet hub combines multiple open pit, underground, and satellite mines trucking to a centralised Processing facility that is currently undergoing a major expansion.
With an exceptional track record of success in production delivery coupled with the acquisition of strategic additions to the company portfolio, we are driven to achieve our vision of being a 500koz gold producer by FY30.
The Role
The Senior Management Accountant is key in supporting financial performance for the Mt Magnet Hub.
You'll bring clarity to complex operational data, strengthen decision-making across site and corporate teams, and help drive commercial outcomes through disciplined analysis and smart, practical improvements.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers, close to operations, and central to how the business plans, performs, and evolves.
Your responsibilities will include:
Own monthly reporting for site costs, capital, variances, analysis and commentary.
Run stockpiles, mine development, amortisation and depreciation models.
Lead budgeting & forecasting with model preparation, and group-standard compliance.
Highlight financial impacts of operational decisions.
Improve processes and support finance transformation, system enhancements, and workflow redesign.
Partner with leaders across site and corporate to drive clarity, accuracy, and better decisions.
Handle tax & royalty compliance including Fuel Tax Credits and State/Private royalty reporting.
Support audits & statutory reporting with accurate, timely information.
Coach and mentor the Management Accountant and champion best-practice modelling.
Uphold safety, governance, and internal controls in line with company standards.
About You
You are a hands-on, analytical, qualified accountant with strong experience in ASX-listed and mining environments.
You're confident working close to operations, with the curiosity to dig into the numbers and the judgement to influence decisions.
You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and bring the professionalism, drive, and commercial mindset needed to thrive in a fast-paced mining business.
You bring:
CA/CPA qualification with tertiary studies in accounting
Experience in ASX-listed and mining or resources environments
Strong technical accounting capability and application of standards
Deep management accounting skills, including variance analysis and modelling
High Excel proficiency for analysis, modelling, and data presentation
A proactive, owner's mindset with a drive to improve processes and outcomes
Ability to challenge assumptions, solve complex issues, and stay close to the detail
Strong relationship-building skills across site and corporate teams
Confidence partnering with non-finance leaders and influencing decisions
Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality work
Ability to coach and support team members' development
Excellent organisation, planning, and communication skills
Experience with Pronto or BI tools (desirable)
