About the Role
As a key member of our Fish Factory processing team, you'll be responsible for shucking and preparing fresh oysters to order, ensuring all seafood meets Endeavour's quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Shuck oysters safely and efficiently, maintaining consistent presentation and yield
Inspect and grade oysters for quality, size, and freshness
Prepare, weigh, and pack oysters for wholesale and retail orders
Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP
Assist with cleaning and general processing duties as required
Follow supervisor instructions and company food safety procedures
About You
Previous oyster shucking or seafood handling experience (preferred but not essential)
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
Physically fit and comfortable working in a cool environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
