About FORWAARD
FORWAARD Aboriginal Corporation is a long-standing, Aboriginal-controlled, not-for-profit organisation established in 1967. We deliver culturally safe, holistic rehabilitation and support programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — and others — seeking to address alcohol and other drug misuse.
At FORWAARD, relationships come first. We work holistically, value cultural knowledge, support one another, and genuinely enjoy the work we do together. We are human, flexible, and committed to doing this work well — and with heart.
We’re in a period of positive change and growth and are looking for someone who enjoys shaping practice, strengthening programs, and supporting people to do their best work.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and values-driven Treatment Manager to provide clinical and practice leadership across FORWAARD’s residential rehabilitation and transitional programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping quality practice, supporting people to do their best work, and holding clinical oversight in a culturally safe, community-controlled setting. You’ll guide and supervise AOD-qualified staff, ensure programs align with our Model of Care and clinical governance frameworks, and support safe, ethical and effective service delivery.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening program consistency, managing clinical risk, and contributing to continuous improvement — while remaining grounded, relational and human in your leadership approach.
At FORWAARD, relationships come first. We work holistically, value cultural knowledge, and genuinely enjoy what we do together. This is a rare opportunity to lead with purpose, flexibility and heart in a respected Aboriginal-controlled organisation.
