Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Director


At our logistics provider, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all operational activities, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations at our Yatalasite, ensuring a safe working environment coupled with cost-effective operational activities. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external.

This dynamic role requires a strong background in labour planning, cost management, and improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional end-to-end knowledge of supply chain operations and experience in leading and managing a team across daily operations, development, and succession planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A superior knowledge and proven experience of Transport operations
* Experience in leading and managing a team across daily operations, development, and succession planning
* Exceptional end-to-end knowledge of supply chain operations, with a background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
* Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
* Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
* Experience with WMS systems – ideally Manhattan
