Overview
Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain role at Sharp & Carter. The client operates 500+ stores across Australia and Recent Zealand, employing more than 40,000 staff. They have a finance department of 120 people and are seeking a diligent Finance Business Partner to be responsible for their Supply Chain function. This position is starting ASAP.
Reporting to the GM of Supply Chain and Head of Commercial Finance, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Responsibilities
- Produce Board-ready outputs that are underpinned by thoughtful analysis and robust assumptions. Prepare and distribute trade performance packs on a regular basis (weekly, monthly).
- Identify key drivers of business performance of the Supply Chain business to drive improved profitability.
- Articulate a clear and concise story that informs the Executive Leadership of business performance.
- Collaborate and work closely with the broader Commercial team to form an integrated view of business performance.
- Drive labour optimisation within Distributions Centres.
- Provide support on commercial projects, maintaining financial models and assisting in business case preparation.
- Support tenders and securing the necessary internal endorsement/approvals.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the Head of Commercial Finance, GM of Supply Chain and the Distribution Centre Managers.
Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years experience in an operational environment, ideally from a product-based company.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.
- Analytical mindset that allows you to provide meaningful and insightful commentary to the senior operations team.
