About the Role:
As a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter – You will play a critical role in our field service and planned maintenance teams, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of large-scale mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform major component rebuilds and breakdowns on all fleet.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Work efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Follow strict safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
Collaborate with a skilled team in fast-paced mining environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Trade Certificate – CERT III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent).
Minimum 3+ years' experience working on large mining excavators.
Proven experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu.
Strong knowledge of Caterpillar and Cummins engines.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and provide a National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
EWP, WAH, and Crane tickets are advantageous.
