We're excited to welcome a Safety & Wellbeing Trainer - Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) to our Safety and Wellbeing Team.

The role will contribute to the non-clinical learning and staff development function of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Occupational Violence Prevention Program ensuring that the delivery of specialised occupational violence training and the development of employee occupational violence prevention skills, workplace assessments for improved de-escalation of occupational violence incidents and Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service achieves its Health and Wellbeing organisational and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

Contribute to the design, development, promotion, and delivery of a range of innovative employee OVP developmental activities across all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service locations including, the delivery of maybo training, OVP educational sessions and wellbeing education sessions.

Utilise available data including RiskMan incident data to identify occupational violence (OV) trends, opportunities for focused interventions and supporting information for OV reporting requirements.

Undertake and maintain OV risk assessments across all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service locations to ascertain work area suitability or options for improved de-escalation of OV incidents.

Undertake administration functions for all training and development activities including planning, promotion, development of training materials and data entry of training records as required.

Remuneration value up to $ p.a., comprising salary between $ $ p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
