Logistics Manager Job Description
About Our Company:
We are seeking a proactive Logistics Manager to lead the management of our third-party logistics (3PL) partners and overall logistics network.
The Role:
As Logistics Manager, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight to optimise warehousing and transport activities. You will be the key liaison between the business and its 3PL providers, driving service excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
* Manage end-to-end 3PL operations, including warehousing and outbound transport
* Build strong, trust-based partnerships with 3PL providers to ensure inventory accuracy and cost control
* Monitor and improve logistics KPIs and cost-to-serve metrics
* Lead warehouse operational initiatives, continuous improvement, and issue resolution
* Ensure smooth execution of order fulfilment, returns, and stock movements
* Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Care, Finance, Quality, Supply Planning, and Sales
* Oversee the warehousing and transport operational budget
* Drive compliance with inventory control processes and ERP alignment
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance logistics performance
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
3. Monitor and report on logistics KPIs and cost savings initiatives
About You:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management, with significant exposure to 3PL operations
* Proven ability to manage outsourced warehouse and freight partners effectively
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Skilled in process improvement and cost control initiatives
* Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring capabilities
