We are seeking two (2) experienced outdoor enthusiasts for active, hands-on roles operating heavy rigid (HR) water trucks. These positions are vital for our civil works and maintenance projects across the region.
* Two (2) permanent positions available.
* Remuneration of $2,255.74 gross per fortnight, with potential to increase to $2,706.89 + superannuation (11.5%).
* Access to Council's Nine (9) Day Fortnight Arrangement.
* Contribute to maintaining local roads and infrastructure.
* Generous leave entitlements.

Your New Role
This role involves working as part of the Civil Operations team to undertake maintenance and construction works, including:
* Operating and maintaining Council plant, especially HR water trucks.
* Performing general labouring duties such as traffic management, pipe laying, concreting, paving, stormwater work, road, bridge, culvert maintenance, roadside repairs, rehabilitation, and site safety.
Maintain high safety standards, using personal protective equipment in line with industry and Council standards.
What You Will Need To Succeed
* A Class HR Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction Training Card.
* SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card(s) – Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control.
* Team player attitude, motivation, and willingness to learn.
* Strong communication skills and commitment to customer service.
Applicants must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B and provide proof, in accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation.
