The Opportunity
The Technical Lead is responsible for guiding technical direction, aligning architecture, and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions across the team. This role provides technical leadership, drives engineering excellence, mentors and develops engineers, and collaborates closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems.
Acting as the bridge between engineering execution and strategic technical decision-making, the Technical Lead oversees system design, manages technical risks, and ensures alignment with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical strategy and ensuring engineering excellence across projects. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, implement architectural design, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Your responsibilities will span technical leadership, team development, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
* Own and drive technical strategy, architecture alignment, and design decisions across projects or product lines.
* Provide oversight and governance for system design, integration, and performance.
* Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and actionable engineering plans.
* Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle.
* Lead, mentor, and coach engineers to support their technical and professional growth.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong technical foundation combined with leadership capabilities. You should be able to influence and inspire teams, make strategic technical decisions, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, scalable solutions aligned with organisational goals.
* 7+ years in software engineering, including senior or lead roles.
* Experience leading technical initiatives and teams.
* Track record of delivering complex solutions at scale.
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
* Expertise in React, .NET (C#), and Microsoft Azure services.
* Proven ability to design and deliver end‑to‑end systems.
