Court Grammar School is a growing Pre‐Kindergarten to Year 12, independent co‐educational school in the Anglican tradition located in Mundijong. Our aim is to build a sense of belonging with the necessary frameworks to allow our students to feel valued and included in all facets of learning.
We are looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic full‐time English teacher for the Secondary School to commence with us from Term 3. We welcome applications from both experienced and recent graduates who are passionate about delivering high quality and engaging English curriculum and inspiring students in Years 7 to 10.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will be able to:
* Demonstrate competency against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: professional knowledge, professional practice, and professional engagement.
* Teach English in Years 7 to 10.
* Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum.
* Use a wide range of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and performance.
* Monitor student progress in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and school guidelines.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with other staff, students and parents.
* Work cooperatively in a team environment.
* Support the Christian ethos of the school.
