Overview
Angove Family Winemakers has certified organic vineyards at Murtho and in McLaren Vale and sources grapes from other organic and conventional vineyards across all SA premium wine regions. A vintage with Angove Family Winemakers provides an excellent opportunity to make wines from all South Australian regions and encounter new, positive and enjoyable experiences.
Responsibilities
* Monitor daily grape intake including crushing, pressing and fermentation processes
* Review laboratory results
* Assist winemakers with yeast cultures and barrel operations
* Liaise with our small enthusiastic winemaking team
Qualifications and Requirements
* Reliable, enthusiastic and motivated person with experience and a passion for winemaking
* Available for the 2026 vintage, starting in late January and concluding in mid-April
* Reporting to the Chief Winemaker; suitability for a recently qualified winemaker with some vintage experience
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, passionate about winemaking; keen to learn and share knowledge
* Applicants must hold Australian residency/citizenship or a valid work visa
* Fluent verbal English and good written English
