As TasNetworks continues to grow in the digital space, we are seeking a highly skilled and driven SAP Business Warehouse Developer to join our dynamic team.
About The Role
Supporting TasNetworks' digital objectives, the role is responsible for designing and maintaining efficient and scalable data models for critical data sets, supporting data-driven initiatives, decision-making processes, and ensuring seamless integration of data into our systems to enable insights and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Set up of XSA schemas for exposing data from HANA BW and ER 1, creation of XSA projects.
- Creating, modifying and deleting data source connections, ADSOs, ODS Open Views, transformations, data transfer processes, master data, supply chains, etc.
- Using job schedulers to run procedures for extracting and processing data.
- Monitoring background jobs to organise Business Warehouse process runs, monitor database size and data load.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll hold a bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) and have extensive knowledge of SAP HANA, XSA and HDI. Experience with SAP BW and ER 1 is desirable, though not essential.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on coding efficiency and optimisation are key.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated people skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders and to interpret data and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience with JavaScript, Node.js and job schedulers.
- Strong communication and collaboration ability.
