Radiation Therapist Role
This position involves delivering high-quality patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment services in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
The Radiation Therapist will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer care services including medical oncology, haematology, radiation oncology, research, theranostics, pharmacy, and compounding.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide safe and effective clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that meet the highest standards of patient care
* Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience
* Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner
* Treat patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality
* Support a collaborative approach that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centric culture
About You
* Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire trust and confidence with stakeholders
* Understanding and commitment to delivering high-quality radiation therapy services
* Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures
* Understanding of the private healthcare service delivery model
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with QLD Radiation Use Licence
