We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team in Mount Isa. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing product support and technical services to customers alongside our fire protection products.
This role involves working closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. You will also be required to train and coach other team members in the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert advice and guidance on fire suppression system installations and maintenance
* Training and coaching team members in the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems
* Estimating and quoting jobs for customers
* Accurately completing paperwork for service coordination
* Maintaining high standards of safety and adherence to policies and procedures
* Supporting technicians from other regions and assisting in training
* Performing fault diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of fire suppression systems
You will have strong customer relation skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Experience in a trade-based role, such as fitter and tuner or boiler maker, is beneficial but not essential. We encourage applicants who are willing to learn and develop their skills.
